Just days after 3 UK made Android 2.2 available to Samsung Galaxy S users, T-Mobile have announced they are following suit. Over at the T-Mobile forum, the company announced : “The 2.2 (froyo) update for the Samsung Galaxy S is now available. Lookin’ forward to hearing your thoughts on it…” Much like 3′s update, T-Mobile’s Android 2.2 upgrade is not available over the air (OTA), and users must first download Samsung Kies onto their PC. From Users may have been hoping for an upgrade to Google‘s Gingerbread OS, but here, you can connect your Galaxy S smartie, and transfer the update. Android 2.2 will still offer Galaxy S users Adobe Flash 10.1 support, speed and battery enhancements, wireless tethering and an improved GPS service.
