There has been a lot said about one of the first dual-core processor phones to be released, the LG Optimus 2X. This impressive handset has excited many people who are avidly awaiting its release in the U.S. and we have now heard that it looks very likely that it will be carried in the U.S. by T-Mobile and known as the T-Mobile G2X. The LG Optimus 2X is an Android smartphone with a Tegra 2 dual -core processor, 4-inch display and an 8-megapixel camera and we’ ve already given readers a review, a comparison with the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, and also included it in our roundup of some of the best LG phones. At the weekend we also took a good look at the performance evels of two of the new dual-core processor phones, the LG Optimus 2X and the Motorola Atrix 4G, as opposed to some single-core handsets, and if you’re interested in the Optimus 2X you’ll be pleased to know that it came out top in many of the tests.
