LG Flip II – New T-Mobile

,

The new T-Mobile model will be the first to combine two screens with a full QWERTY keyboard. More information has been released today on the World’s first dual screen smart phone. The actual name of the device is still yet to be revealed, but online rumours are dubbing the handset the Flip II, with other possible names including the LG Maxx Q, LG Q or the LG Optimus Slider. However, LG are keeping the best details about the Flip Android phone tightly under wraps for the time being. So far there has only ever been one other dual screen smart phone on  the market, the Sprint Kyocera Echo which unfolds like a Nintendo DS,  but this model consisted of two touch screens, whereas the Flip II will also have a full QWERTY keyboard. The keyboard itself slides out from underneath the main screen and the second screen is nestled between the QWERTY keyboards, meaning that the keys are split in half, which is something that any ordinary  keyboard users will have to get used to. The top screen of the Flip allows you to operate the phone just like any other touch screen, whilst the bottom lets you multi task between menus, different options and the applications that are  installed on your phone. The back of the phone sports a camera with an LED flash but  there is yet no word on how many megapixels it may be. The Flip II is currently rumoured to be looking at a release date  of September 14th according to a leaked road map belonging to T-Mobile, but the details of this are still to be confirmed
