Insight Into Android And The Best TMobile:
Android is a cell phone operating system (OS) purchased by Google in 2005. The OS is open source, meaning the code is available for third parties to use and work on. This has the advantage of allowing the platform to be very secure as there are so many different developers viewing and re-viewing the code so that any possible errors are quickly removed. In addition, there is less corporate 'big brother' control over the platform, with a strong emphasis on creativity. Hence, there has been strong surge in the Android app market with a host of amazing apps recently launched. The Android OS has over taken BlackBerry's RIM OS and Apple's iOS to become the number one OS in the US. There are still more iOS apps, however, this is changing. Both Apple and Android apps stores have long since reached their critical mass with basically an app for anything, hence, the fact that iOS currently has more apps is not that relevant.TMobile currently has an impressive selection of Android devices available to you (thirteen), and with the expected merge with At&t even more expected. TMobile's rate plans are the most competitive amongst the major providers with their unlimited talk; text and data plan at $80 per month. This is significantly less than Verizon as $120 and Sprint at $110. The only similar option that is cheaper is PC Mobile. However, PC Mobile's range of Androids is very limited and they piggy-back off the other provider networks resulting in slow connectivity rates. Essentially PC Mobile is only a good if you are looking for a BlackBerry curve. TMobile's connectivity speeds are top rate with their 4G network covering almost all the major metropolitan areas and giving you an average download speed of 2.3 Mbps. This is quicker than any of the other networks. To take advantage of the 4G network you need to be using either the TMobile myTouch or the TMobile G2.The myTouch takes first place as TMobile's premier Android phone due to the 4G connectivity and impressive design. The big advantages of the myTouch are:* The physical design gives the phone a high class look, largely due to the metal back and ceramic plastic bezel.* WiFi calling option of the phone is a first for Android. However, it is not quiet as reliable as the BlackBerry 8520 and 9700.* 4G high speed connectivity* Hotspot option enabling you to connect your laptop to the internet anywhere there's a phone connection. This will cost you an additional $10 per month. * 1 GHz SnapDragon processor is quick and competes with the Samsung Hummingbird to make it the fastest mobile processor brand in the US.* Strong multimedia functionality with 1GB built in storage and an additional 8GB microSD card slot available. The G2 is also an excellent choice from TMobile. This phone is excellent if you prefer the 'vanilla' Android interface, and enjoy using a physical keyboard. The slide out QWERTY keyboard works well and has reasonable tactile response. However, the Samsung Epic 4G from Sprint has the most popular Android keyboard. The 'vanilla' interface is popular because of its layout and technical design. The 'pure Android' interface does not have other manufacture overlays, hence, is quicker to get updates to the latest Android operating systems. If size is an issue and you prefer a light and thin design of the Samsung Vibrant. This phone does not have 4G connectivity, but has strong general features. Hence, is a good option if you enjoy a light slender phone. There are a number of other Android phones available from TMobile, which you might enjoy. However, the myTouch, G2 and Samsung Vibrant are the top TMobile phones for their specific features. Namely the G2 has a good physical keyboard, 'pure Android' interface and 4G web-browsing. The myTouch 4G boasts impressive browsing speeds and is well designed, while the Vibrant is a good alternative if size is a concern to you.

New BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 From T-Mobile:
T-Mobile announced they will launch the new BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900. This phone was originally expected to be ready by the end of Summer, however; it is now expected to launch this September. This will be the first touch screen 4G BlackBerry available; hence, there is much anticipation around the launch of the 9900 Bold. Note - T-Mobile is the first provider to confirm that it will stock the Bold 9900. However, it is expected that Sprint, AT&T and Verizon will stock this phone. When and for how much is another question. If your upgrade is due you are probably wondering what the difference is between the 9900 and the 9780 (the current BlackBerry Bold from T-Mobile):* Design - the new 9900 Curve is the thinnest BlackBerry yet at just 10.5 mm versus the 9780 at 14.1 mm. Other than the welcomed reduction in thickness, the rest of the design is similar to the original Bold design with the popular full QWERTY keyboard and optical track-pad. The specs are: 115 x 66 x 10.5 mm and 130 grams.* Screen - this phone sports a 2.8 inch multi-touch screen with excellent clarity (640 x 480 pixels), versus the 9780 with a 2.44 inch LCD screen (480 x 360 pixels). Clearly the 9900 is a winner in this category, however, this phone is not designed for spending long periods of time viewing You Tube and movie clips. If this is something that interests you have a look at myTouch 4G, which has 4G and excellent multi-media functions. * Processor - 1.2 GHz Snapdragon (almost twice that of the current Bold) and 786 RAM. This should allow you to run a number of apps simultaneously with out the phone slowing up or 'freezing'. Memory - 8GB onboard and a micro SD card slot that can add another 32 GB, so more than enough memory for all your media.* Camera is the same as the 9780 at 5 Mega pixels; however, the video recording is an improvement at 720p HD.* Connectivity is a marked improvement with the 9900 running on 4G networks versus 3G. The increase in web browsing speed, and of course the touch screen with the pinch to zoom and 'liquid graphic' display add to the attractiveness of the 9900. The 'liquid graphic' display results in the entire page to loading at once so that you don't have to wait for sections of the page to load while you scroll down the web page. The Bold 9900 is a marked improvement on the 9780 largely due to the improved web 4G browsing ability and the slightly larger, sharper, touch screen display. Physically the 9900 looks fairly similar to the 9780. BlackBerry has dominated the market the corporate sector with their practical, robust and secure phones, with the introduction of 4G speeds and touch screen web browsing the Bold 9900 will introduce a practical and impressive multi-media phone to the world. The screen of the Bold 9900 will still be fairly small compared to the larger Android 4G phones; hence, giving a better web browsing experiences on the Android phones. Nevertheless, web browsing on the 9900 will be more than adequate for limited web browsing users. In addition, the larger 4G phones suffer from poor battery life; hence, the 9900 battery life should perform better than most of the 4G Android devices. As far as pricing goes, this has not been mentioned by T-Mobile or BlackBerry.

The Best Three T-Mobile Androids Are:
T-Mobile has an impressive selection of Android phones with around thirteen types available for you to choose from. The myTouch 4G and the G2 are notable T-mobile phones because of their 4G connectivity and smart design. The Samsung Vibrant does not have 4G, but is a light, thin phone with good, practical features. I believe these to be the best Android phones from T-mobile and this article will describe why. The five top features of the myTouch 4G that make it the best T-Mobile Android are:1. High speed connectivity using T-Mobile's 4G network (arguably the largest 4G network in the US)2. 1GHz Snapdragon processor, allowing you to run multiple applications at once while moving quickly between various functions3. Wi-Fi calling4. Hotspot functionality5. Premier finish (metal back and ceramic plastic bezel)The myTouch is available to you in white, black, purple and red. The myTouch has an impressive, large 3.8-inch screen (800 x 480 pixel LCD touch screen) with good viewing even from side angles or in direct sun light. The clarity of the calling is good, with an excellent speakerphone. Internet connectivity is rapid due to T-Mobile's impressive 4G HSPA+ network, and I consider this to be the strongest feature of the phone. The only other T-Mobile Android to run on T-Mobile's 4G networks is the G2. Both phones give you quick download speeds of around 2 Mbps, which is quicker than the other major networks. There is also the option with the myTouch to use it as a wireless hotspot or to connect it directly to the laptop. Both are easy and quick to set up. Wireless hotspot will cost you an additional ten Dollars. The myTouch is currently running on the Android Froyo operating system (i.e. Android 2.2). However, it is expected to get the upgrade to Gingerbread soon (i.e. Android 2.3). Though Froyo is not the latest operating system from Android it is still relatively fresh and brings with it Flash 10.1 to allow better web browsing. The interface of the myTouch is highly customizable and comes pre-installed with a wide variety of great apps. One downside to having the pre-installed apps is that you are not able to delete any of them. This does tend to clutter the screen slightly with apps you might not need but does not alter functionality. That said, if you 'root' your device you are able to customize the phone to your liking, and can delete factory-installed apps. The multimedia options on this phone are brilliant, with 1 GB of built-in storage together with a 8GB MicroSD card; you will have plenty of storage room to store all your music and videos. There is a front facing VGA camera for video calling and a 5-mega-pixel camera on the back that takes reasonably sharp, high quality shots. Unless, having a physical keyboard is a high priority for you, the myTouch is the T-Mobile Android for you.The G2 from T-Mobile has many similar features to the myTouch, but has a physical keyboard. The G2 also has a 'vanilla' Google interface, so if that is something you enjoy go for the G2. You might be asking what is a 'vanilla' Google interface. Quiet simply, it is the default user interface on the Android operating system. Most of the manufacturers then build their unique user interface that sits on top of the Android version. The only downside to these manufacturer overlays is that the overlays need to be updated for new versions of Android. This takes longer to get the upgrade. Many users also prefer the 'vanilla' version from a cosmetic point of view.If having a physically light and thin phone is important to you, then the Samsung Vibrant is your best option. It is a great phone, but note: it does not come with 4G.Regardless of which T-Mobile Android you choose, you might be interested to note that T-Mobile is currently running an unlimited talk, text and data special that is a total of $80 per month. Similar plans on Sprint will cost you $110 and Verizon $120, hence, T-Mobile's rate plans are very competitively priced.

Based in Bonn, Germany, T-Mobile is present  in ten other European countries (Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic Hungary, Macedonia, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia and the United Kingdom) as well as the United States. On March 20, 2011, Deutsche Telekom announced plans to sell T-Mobile's U.S. operations to AT&T, pending regulatory  approvals.[2] The proposed deal will have no effect  on the ownership of T-Mobile operations in Europe.

Android could transform any cell phone into a computer or game device:
It could be a year before we see an actual cell  phone running on Google's new Android operating system. But if - and that's a big if - Google is  able to fulfill its lofty plans, customers can expect to find mobile phones replicate the PC Internet experience,  with all of its dynamism and choice. If that sounds familiar, it's because Steve Jobs said something similar back in January when he announced the iPhone. While the iPhone is just one device, now priced at $399, Google's platform could be used by a number of cell phone models - and all most likely priced at less than $200.

T-Mobile LG Sentio Cell Phone Details:

T-Mobile's New Unlimited Calling Plan:
For several months, Sprint had the best deal in wireless when it came to  all you can eat plans. Now, T-Mobile has thrown their hat in the ring. So,  what is this new plan all about? If I were to put it into one word, it would be "value". Now we will compare these plans to see the differences and which  is the better value for you. T-Mobile's new unlimited everything plan is priced at $79.99 per month for an individual line of service. With this, you get unlimited talk, unlimited text, and 2GB of data (which for most users is unlimited). One advantage of getting  this T-Mobile plan now is the fact that AT&T has purchased T-Mobile pending  government approval. This means that your coverage area will grow beyond just  T-Mobile's and will eventually include AT&T towers for better overall service. So how does this compare to Sprint's Any Mobile Anytime Plan? The Sprint plan  gives you 450 minutes to call land lines and unlimited calling to ALL cell phones.  Given that most people are abandoning their land lines and going to just cell phones,  this isn't a huge advantage for T-Mobile, but it is a small advantage. The Sprint  plan gives you unlimited texting which is the same as the T-Mobile plan, making this  a wash. Finally, Sprint has true unlimited data where T-Mobile gives you 2GB of data.  For most people this really doesn't matter, however, it is still a small advantage for Sprint. So when matching them, how does the cost per month come into play? For non data devices you can get the Sprint unlimited plan for $69.99 per month. If you have a Smartphone you will be charged an extra $10 per month making the total cost on the Sprint plan  $79.99 per month, the same as the T-Mobile plan. So here is the scoop. If you don't want a Smartphone, but still want texting and the  Internet included, the Sprint plan is a better value for most users since they will  save $10 per month. If you want a Smartphone or Android phone and use tons of minutes and more than 450 of them per month are to land lines, T-Mobile is the clear choice  for you. The one weakness of the T-Mobile plan is it doesn't offer true unlimited data like the Sprint one does. If you are a heavy data user you have to go with Sprint here. Well, T-Mobile has given price conscience consumers another great value when it comes to unlimited calling plans. Now it is up to you to decide which of these  plans is right for you.
The Affect Of T-Mobile's Take Over On Your BlackBerry:

most T-Mobile subscribers are wondering is how does this effect them. The short  answer is it will not. T-Mobile users will be able to keep their existing rate  plans and their handsets will continue to work as before. T-Mobile is the tenth largest cellular provider in the world with 150 Million  subscribers, giving it third place in the US. T-Mobile owns its own network  (1900 MHz). According to PC World's downloading tests, T-Mobile came out second  with their 4G network giving you an average download speed of 3.70 Mbps. However,n currently BlackBerry phones are running on 3G, and T-Moble has the quickest  3G network with an average download speed of 2.08 Mbps. T-Mobile has announced  that the Bold 9900 will be available through T-Mobile in September, which will  be the first BlackBerry to support 4G. The 9900 though similar in design to the  current Bold 9780 sports some impressive features, such as the slightly larger  2.3 Inch 'liquid graphics' touch screen, the new operating system 7, and a 1.2  GHz snapdragon processor twice as fast as the current Bold. When it comes to cell phone plans, T-Mobile is the most competitively priced out of the big providers. They currently have a special on, giving you unlimited  calling, messaging, and data for $79.99. That is $40 less than the same options on Verizon. You can also expect to pay the one time activation fee of $35. Currently T-Mobile has two BlackBerrys available, the Curve 3G 9300 and the Bold 9780 that comes in white and black. If you are wondering which is better,  I would recommend you go with the Bold for an extra $50. However, the Curve  is in many respects very similar to the Bold and has some great reviews.  The most popular features of both these phones are the physical QWERTY keyboard,  that BlackBerry has mastered making text messaging and emailing a breeze.  In addition, BlackBerry security is good; BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) is a much  loved instant messaging app; BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) is popular amongst the corporate sect for its ability to synchronize work email, contacts, calendar,  ect.; and these BlackBerry's have a robust and solid build.

T-Mobile's Default Search Engine:
Competition has been stoked in the mobile search engine optimisation (SEO) sector with the announcement that Google is to replace Yahoo as T-Mobile's default engine. While T-Mobile USA has replaced Yahoo with Google as its default search on mobile phones such as RIM BlackBerrys, some Yahoo-based services will continue to work on T-Mobile, including Yahoo Mail and Yahoo messenger.A Yahoo spokesperson stressed that T-Mobile and Yahoo would continue to work together on content services such as Yahoo News, Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Finance, Flickr and weather on T-Mobile's Web2Go portal. However, the portal itself - which provides search services to non-smartphone internet users - will now be powered by Google.Despite this, some website optimisation experts have claimed that default search portals will mean increasingly less as smartphones become more popular. Greg Sterling of that Land said that "this switcheroo of the T-Mobile 'default' relationship doesn't necessarily help Google or harm Yahoo in a major way". "Consumers have more options to access the content and services they are loyal to on smartphones, rather than simply accepting and using the carrier-designated services," he added. However, he continued that there would no doubt be some incremental loss or gain in terms of search query volume and related clicks. The alliances between search engines and mobile carriers have become an important part of the website optimisation (SEO) landscape, according to Search engine optimisation practitioners. For example, research published earlier this year by the Internet Advertising Bureau revealed organisations that combined mobile and website marketing were able to radically increase brand awareness with a 150 per cent higher click-through rate online.
