Dual Sim Mobile

With the invention of Chinese mobiles and their crafty ways to get multiple sims into mobiles, it seems like all of main strean mobile vendors are now working on developing mobile phones to cater the audience which are buying these phones over established brands. There are several reasons why as to why people are buying dual sim mobile phones, for example, since they are directly imported from China, they don’t cost much, but do the job. Secondly, people tend to have multiple numbers for different set of people, hence the reason to have a phone which can hold two sims at a time comes in. In the current age, people don’t feel like carrying multiple phones in their pockets or hand bags for that matter, its not cost effective to have multiple phones either. Tehse dual sim mobiles function in various ways, which we have discussed below.Dual sim mobiles usually work when you insert two or three sims into your mobile phone and then you might be able to recieve calls on any one of them, in some phones, this function might not work and you have to switch between sims using your keypad. In any case, the second sim usuallyd oesn’t work when you are either making or recieving a call. After the chinese phones, other main stream mobile vendors have been developing dual sim mobiles. Earlier, it used to be only Samsung and Lg with Dual Sim hand sets, but now Nokia has jumped into the game as well. For upto date rates and specifications for Nokia check Nokia Dual Sim Mobile Prices in Pakistan. We have also made a list of available dual sim mobiles in Pakistan from other brands, such as Samsung Dual Sim Mobile Prices in Pakistan. Beside Nokia and LG there are phones from China market, such as Qmobile etc and we can expect to see some more in future, however, we have list for Lg Dual Sim Mobile Prices in Pakistan available. You can compare prices of these mobiles and see which one suits more to your needs.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play

Sit on a tube, train or bus of a morning and it’s clear how many people use their mobile phones to play games. Angry Birds’ popularity is built not on excellence but on boredom, and the reason so many similar games have been so successful is that people tend to play a range of games at similar times, or games tend to be fairly easy to finish.
Step forward ‘the PlayStation phone’, the first example of which is the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play. It uses the same controls as the popular games console and the makers hope that both players and developers will be drawn to it as a new kind of device.
In truth, unfortunately, the Play is still a first version of that ambition, launched in April but still yet to be properly overhauled. But it seems fair to assume that phones with a specific gaming bent are likely to become more common because simply playing via the touchscreen means your fingers are covering the screen too often.
For now, the unique selling point of the Play is that gaming capability. More games are coming and the software is being improved. So if gaming is your thing, it’s surely for you. But if gaming’s really your thing, you might actually be best off getting a games console such as a Nintendo 3DS and a separate phone.

Motorola’s advertising slogan for the Defy is that it’s ‘Party Proof’. That means, according to the advert, you can take it to Brazil, splash it with cocktails, drop it on the dancefloor and still call a cab home and text your friends to say you made it back. This robust design, perhaps more than a squillion apps, is of real use to consumers.
Newly updated, the Defy+ now offers all its previous superb Android features, but with a faster processor and a newer version of the software. Enhanced with Motorola’s MotoBlur interface, it can integrate your social networks and it is also an excellent media device, integrating FM radio with web radio. The responsive screen looks very good, although it’s let down most often by the Defy’s poor camera. For a device that wants users to take it out partying, that seems a peculiar omission.
With decent value contracts on offer and a phone that promises to last far longer than most, it’s hard to fault the Defy. That’s not to say it’s even Motorola’s best phone (see the Atrix, above), but it’s an excellent device.

HTC Sensation XL

HTC’s Sensation XL is both sensationally good and sensationally heavy compared to its main rival, the Samsung Galaxy S2. With the extra bulk you do, however, get the superb HTC Sense interface and audio from Beats by Dr Dre - the distinctive headphones are included in the box. All that makes a real difference and means that this is more than a typical Android phone. Contact information is effortlessly integrated with social networking and you can use HTC’s exclusive movie store to buy films direct. With a large screen and full HD, the Sensation is also able to do them justice. It is, in that sense the logical successor to HTC’s hugely popular, superb Desire HD, but with massively improved sound quality.
The Sensation’s two problems, however, are its bulk and its battery life. The former is not a huge problem per se, but compared to other devices HTC needs to do better in future. Of more importance is the battery life, which users will notice flags before the end of the day even in casual usage. It is better than the LG Optimus 3D, but then it isn’t powering all that 3D wizardry.
The overall feeling with HTC is that this is the company that forced others, such as Samsung and Motorola to up their game. From HTC’s perspective, perhaps it’s unfortunate that they succeeded so well.

Google has announced its much-awaited new phone, the Galaxy Nexus, and also released a new version of its Android phone software. Codenamed Ice Cream Sandwich, Android 4.0 will be available to existing Android users soon and is available to software developers now. The Galaxy Nexus will launch in November.
Among the Galaxy Nexus’s new features are face recognition, allowing users to unlock their phones simply by looking at the phone’s front camera, a redesigned interface, an improved keyboard and a new application using Near-Field Communications (NFC) that lets two Android handsets share content directly.
The phone also replaces all physical buttons with software-based, moveable equivalents. The change allows a larger, 4.65” screen, which like the previous Nexus S model is slightly curved.
Running a 1.2Ghz processor, the Galaxy Nexus will be made by Samsung and also offers a high-definition display. Although many phones, such as the newly announced Motorola Razr and the Samsung Galaxy SII offer 8 megapixel cameras, the Galaxy Nexus uses a 5mp version.
Writing on the Google Blog, the company’s Senior Vice President of Mobile, Andy Rubin, wrote that “Ice Cream Sandwich makes Android simple and beautiful, and takes the smartphone to beyond smart”. It's that crucial, improved usability that means Android is finally beginning to match the user experience of the iPhone interface.

11:17 AM
Motorola has unveiled a new version of its top-selling handset, the Razr. The new version, which runs Android and is just 7.1mm thin, is the successor to the original clamshell handset that sold more than 130million units after it was launched in 2004.
Available on a number of networks in the UK from November, the device features a Kevlar body, a top-of-the range 4.3” display and a 1.2GHz processor.
The original Razr was initially launched as a high-fashion designer phone, but after the price was lowered it went on to sell in record numbers. It is still the world's best-selling clamshell phone, and featured in popular TV shows such as Lost and Top Gear. A version made for charity was launched by Oprah Winfrey and Bono.
Running Android 2.3.5, the new device also includes a new app called MotoCast, which allows the device to stream or download content such as music, films or files from any computer in the world, so long as it is also using MotoCast.
Sanjay Jha, Motorola’s chairman and chief executive, said that “Motorola Razr is an iconic brand, and one that originally revolutionized the mobile device industry by turning a functional necessity into an object of desire.”
The phone will feature an 8megapixel camera and can record in full 1080p HD video. A new feature called “Smart Actions” will also automate certain settings, so that, for instance, the phone can automatically put itself on silent when the GPS registers that it has entered its owner’s workplace.
The Razr will also be sold with a range of accessories including the laptop-style lapdock made popular by the Motorola Atrix smartphone.
It is expected to retail on tariffs making it free at £35 per month.

Top Mobiles BlackBerry Torch

BlackBerry and touchscreen haven’t previously been a great match, and truth be told the Torch is by no means the best example on the market when compared to Apple, Android and many others.
With a slide-out keyboard, however, the Torch offers both a genuine BlackBerry experience and a larger canvas. That means it can come close to actually fulfilling BlackBerry’s promise of being great for both business and pleasure.
Unfortunately, the device still lacks apps in the numbers of other platforms; those that are there, however, are perfectly good enough. Universal Search is a handy feature, however: just start typing and the software automatically looks for everything relevant, including contacts, emails and more. If there’s nothing in the device, you’re offered links to Google and other sources.
So the Torch is a very impressive business phone that’s acceptable to also use for listening to music or watching movies. BlackBerry are keen to point out that they are Britain’s best-selling smartphone maker which, thanks to younger users and cheaper prices, they are. But while the Torch is the best BlackBerry on the market at the moment, it’s not the best smartphone.

Top Mobiles Motorola Atrix

When T3 magazine announced its “Hot 100 Gadgets” of 2011, the Motorola Atrix was No 1, ahead of Apple’s iPad, a host of Google tablets and a range of products, from laptops to sound systems and games consoles.
Thanks to a dual-core processor, rather surprisingly advertised on the start-up screen, the Atrix runs extremely quickly and is able to do a number of things at once in a way that would have been unthinkable even 18 months ago. Watching a movie while also flicking to a web browser, say.
The Atrix challenges the distinction between mobile and computer. For most consumers, the basic functions of a laptop – text editing and web browsing – can now be done online. People are buying laptops, not for their power, but for the keyboard and larger screen.
An Atrix, however, can plug into the Lapdock accessory, which boasts the sort of super-thin, ultra-light design that would once fetch a much higher price than £299.
Of course, the dock is not a fully-fledged laptop, but for many purposes it’s as much as you’ll need. Factor in the other docks that can use the phone to play movies via your TV or music via your hi-fi and the Atrix is as irresistible as a Google Android handset gets. If there’s a fault, it’s that it’s still easy to get to the limits of its capabilities. That’s testament, though, to how far technology has come so fast. In future, a single device is likely to connect wirelessly to screens of various sizes in various settings. Atrix is a first glimpse of that new, always connected world.

Top Mobiles Nokia Lumia 800

In its latest version, Windows Phone is the best thing Microsoft makes. Sadly, it’s never had hardware that really feels like a truly premium product – until now.
The Nokia Lumia 800 is, according to CEO Stephen Elop, “the first real Windows Phone”. Other models, made by HTC and Samsung, have been decent enough, but they don’t offer the solidity of the new Lumia 800.
Although the seamless polycarbonate shell and the solidity of the device are impressive, in fact it’s the Windows Phone software that really shines. Teamed with Nokia’s excellent design and camera heritage, there’s a lot to like, whether it’s the Office integration, gaming with Xbox live or simply social network integration.
The 3.7” screen offers Super AMOLED resolution, and Windows Phone’s living tiles really do look impressive; showing you the weather, a boarding pass or a friend’s photograph, the display hardware here is as good as this software needs. And the phone’s tactile, matte finish means the Lumia is not like the bar of soap that many other phones often seem to be modelled on. It’s also pleasingly weighted, at 142g.
Unique apps on the Lumia are limited, although satnav and music applications are impressive. There's no front-facing camera either, but the Lumia puts Windows back in the game.

Top Mobiles Apple iPhone 4S

The iPhone is the phone that everybody has heard of because it revolutionised, in a way that only Apple could, how phones work. Now with the iPhone 4S, Apple has fixed the well-documented aerial problems and added a 'personal assistant' called Siri. It lets you speak to the iPhone just as you might to another person, asking it to set alarms, search the web or using it to write email. Apple has shown that it is still at the top of its game, even if the 4S was merely an evolution from the popular iPhone 4.
That’s not to say the iPhone is without its flaws, but it is certainly beautifully designed (by Briton Jony Ive) and it offers a whole world of entertainment and productivity through its gargantuan app store. The appeal is at once both aspirational and functional.
Thanks to a new operating system, iOS5, the iPhone now handles notifications much better and syncs with the iCloud for music, photos, calendars and other information. So whether it’s screen, HD video recording or video calling, the iPhone excels.
There are currently some software problems relating to the iPhone's battery life, which Apple has acknowledged - but it’s the slick interface that makes the iPhone 4 so compelling. The downside is the price and the fact that Apple retains absolute control. Millions around the world regard the former as a bargain price for the latter. It’s difficult to disagree, even as competition mounts from Google's Android.

For a long time, if any technology writer was asked what phone they would recommend to most users, the answer was simple. Even for the least Apple-inclined, ‘Get an iPhone’ was the only honest answer. It was not perfect, but it was the best on the market bar none.
Since then, devices such as the HTC Desire have provided worthy challengers. Today, the Samsung Galaxy S2 is the only phone that challenges the iPhone 4. That’s because it’s elegantly designed, has decent battery life and a superb interface, but it also offers features that are unavailable elsewhere.
So whether it is full HD video recording, the Super Amoled 4.3” screen or just general, remarkable speed, the S2 pretty much has everything. As an Android phone, its integration with Google Maps is superb, but it’s faster than any other on the market to find your location, for instance. It offers impressive new apps such as WiFi Direct, to connect to other devices. Buy a Samsung TV and the S2 is the remote control you wish you’d always had.
In terms of irritants, the lock-screen design looks cheap and the keyboard could be better. That’s small beer. If you want the smartest phone, today’s battle is iPhone 4 v Samsung S2.

T-Mobile USA

Deutsche Telekom Chief Executive Officer Rene Obermann said Thursday a merger of the T-Mobile USA division is an option, while ruling out revisiting a complete sale after its fallout with AT&T last year.
“We do not exclude any option for the T-Mobile unit in the U.S., also not a merger,” Obermann told shareholers Thursday at an annual meeting in Cologne. “A complete sale is unlikely. You understand that I can't say more in public on T- Mobile USA.”
The comments are the clearest yet on Deutsche Telekom's plan to hold onto the asset — at least partially — five months after the $39 billion proposed sale of T-Mobile to AT&T collapsed because of regulatory resistance. Deutsche Telekom is discussing a merger of T-Mobile with MetroPCS Communications Inc., with other options including an initial public offering, people familiar with the matter said this month.
“We don't see any value creation by T-Mobile USA if it stays as a stand-alone company,” said Alexandre Iatrides, an analyst in Paris. “The alternatives would be a merger or some kind of network-sharing agreement with MetroPCS or Sprint Nextel.”
Verizon Wireless and AT&T serve about 60 percent of U.S. wireless subscribers, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. T-Mobile accounts for 9.5 percent, and MetroPCS has 2.7 percent. A combination of T-Mobile and AT&T would have created the largest U.S. mobile-phone operator.
“The failed sale of Deutsche Telekom's U.S. subsidiary is a harsh setback in the attempt to clean up the pile of broken glass of the failed expansion in foreign countries.”, Klaus Kaldemorgen of DWS Investment, a unit of Deutsche Bank AG, said at the Deutsche Telekom's shareholders meeting Thursday. “One cannot discern a plan B for the U.S. business.”
The uncertainty about T-Mobile's future has affected the unit's business, Obermann said Thursday.
“We must find other ways to increase the return on our capital, or to reduce our capital investment,” he said. “Believe me, we are really working very hard on this, but we are not going to make a snapshot.”
In the first quarter, T-Mobile increased profit as prepaid clients helped offset the loss of 510,000 contract customers. T- Mobile has announced at least 2,800 jobs in the past months as it closes some call centers and reorganizes departments across the company.
Deutsche Telekom is considering a stock-swap transaction with MetroPCS Communications that would give the Bonn-based company control over the combined entity, which would be publicly listed, people familiar with the matter said this month.
The German company also has hired bankers, including TAP Advisors, to sell a large portion of its network towers and has said it will spend $4 billion over two years on the construction of an LTE wireless network.
